Your ideal party venue, serving the best of British food. Offering a quiet location, with a friendly atmosphere. We have a fully licenced bar, offering a good range of lagers, beers, ciders, wines, and spirits. Soft drinks are also available.

Saturday evenings are kept free for private parties. However, other dates might also be available. Please contact us to arrange a date. (Preferably as far in advance as possible).
All food is prepared at The Taste of England, by owner and chef, Helen Tarry.
Private party numbers: Minimum 15 people. Maximum 120 people.
There is ample parking. As we have a large private car park.
Personalise
Everything can be personalised for your special day/event. Just let us know. Be it birthday, christmas, company party, wedding, or funeral. We can cater to your needs.
We can help you to arrange live music, of whatever style you chose. We can also provide karaoke, as we have our own system. Prices dependant on requirements. (why not take a look at our more frequent bands for some ideas).
You are welcome to bring decorations, which we can put up for you. Such as, balloons, and photographs. We can make cakes for you. Just let us know what you would like. You are ofcourse free to bring up your own.

Below are some suggestions of the food we can provide and a suggestion of prices. Although we are happy to cater for any taste or event, just let us know what you would like and we can discuss pricing accordingly. Also please let us know of any special dietary requirements.
There is no extra fee for booking this establishment. Although a deposit of £100, is required on confirmation of your booking. Payment by cash or credit/debit card.
Hot and cold buffet selection
Sausages; chicken cooked in wine and herbs; jacket or new potatoes; seasonal salads; baked mushrooms; garlic bread.

Buffet selection, with addition of hot roast gammon joint. Add £2.50 per person.

Carvery
Home cooked carvery, using fresh produce.
A selection of three different meats, accompanied with home cooked vegetables, proper roast potatoes, and real homemade gravy.

We also offer Homemade puddings. Please let us know what you would like. Examples include: sherry trifle, bread and butter pudding, apple pie, and cakes. All desserts can come with custard, cream or ice cream.
